We would love for you to consider joining us for an in-person worship gathering soon! Redemption Hill Church is made up of hurting, broken, and searching people who have been set free by the blood of Jesus Christ, and have been given a mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and glorify God forever.
Below are some important things to know about worship gatherings at Redemption Hill:
What about COVID?
For months COVID-19 changed the way we gathered for worship. We are thankful for the way our church embraced the health restrictions when necessary and that we were able to gather in-person as much as possible. Now, we are thankful that local restrictions have been eased and we are still able to gather in-person. Here are two important notes regarding restrictions:
Local authorities and the YMCA have relaxed their requirements for mask wearing. Moving forward, we will not be requiring anyone to wear a mask during our worship gatherings. If you would like to continue wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. We ask that you do what is best and most comfortable for you.
For now, the chairs will continue to be spaced out to ensure at least 6 feet between each family unit. A team member will be available to help everyone find a seat. We ask that our members and regular attenders sit toward the front, leaving plenty of extra chairs in the back for guests.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don't worry about what you wear, as you'll never feel out of place when you come casual.
Where do I go?
The Stowe Family YMCA has plenty of parking. Once you find a spot, you can enter the building through the main front entrance, where our welcome team will be ready to meet you. They can show you where to find the worship service, Kids Ministry, restrooms, or anything else you need.
What do I bring?
If you have a Bible, bring it with you. The worship gathering is centered around the preaching of God's Word and we want you to see for yourself what God has said. If you do not have a Bible, we will have a free copy available for you to take with home with you.
What will the worship gathering be like?
Each worship gathering is about 1 hour long. Our time is centered around the preaching of God's Word. The worship team leads the church in gospel-centered singing together. We also participate in communion and generous giving as acts of worship each week. If you are a guest at one of our worship gatherings, we want you to know you are welcome and we do not expect you to give anything.
