Redemption Hill Church is a church that started in 2019 in the Mount Holly/Belmont area.
The purpose of Redemption Hill can be summed up in three words: Gospel, Community, and Mission.

Why Mount Holly?
Parkwood’s desire is to see God glorified in Gaston County. We do this by planting churches in strategic locations throughout our area. Two motivating factors have driven us to plant a church in the city of Mount Holly: Strategy and Spiritual Need.
Strategy
Mount Holly is 2nd in population in Gaston County, only to the city of Gastonia. Considering its proximity to Charlotte and small town charm, it’s one of the fastest growing cities in the County. New neighborhoods are constantly emerging, and there is a significant push to see downtown Mount Holly revitalized with new businesses to serve the growing needs of the city.
Spiritual Need
Mount Holly, like much of the south has embraced cultural Christianity, as opposed to real Christianity. Much of our mission in Mount Holly will be making the real Jesus of the Bible known in the city. In addition to this, people from all over the country are moving to Mount Holly to work in Charlotte. Many of these people don’t know Jesus. Our desire is to see the redemption we have through Jesus alone embraced and enjoyed in Mount Holly.
The way we will reach Mt. Holly is through:
Faithful declaration of the gospel of Jesus from the pulpit and our people.
Faithful demonstration of the gospel of Jesus as we do life with one another in missional community. We want to be IN the city and FOR the city of Mount Holly.
